Taking the Holy Bible as the divine revelation and infallible written Word of God, we strongly believe in the eternal and unique existence of God as Father, Son, and Spirit.  We agree that all scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, so that the one who partakes of God’s life and nature may be complete, fully equipped for every good work. We believe that Jesus Christ is both God and Man.   Since the fall of man (the first Adam), there has been a demand of God’s Holiness, Glory, and Righteousness that man has not been able to fulfill.  Therefore, we hold firm that God, because of His grace, love, mercy, and righteousness, sought to work on man’s behalf to restore both the relationship and fellowship between man and God through His life.  Because of His uniqueness to be both God and man, we believe that God, as the Son, held on to His divine nature, while being born of a virgin woman, lived a human life here on earth, and died on the cross to meet the demand of wages for our sins.  We further believe that He resurrected from physical death after three days, and ascended to the heavens, where He yet abides.  We affirm that we have been forgiven, justified, and reconciled by God through the finished and redemptive work of Jesus Christ, and have been furthermore, declared righteous and regenerated through His self same work.  We eagerly await His return to rapture us that we may remain with Him forever.  Finally, we sum this statement of faith to declare that God’s desire is to have human vessels that will believe into Him and contain Him as we Rescue the Perishing, Care for the Dying, and Build the body of Jesus Christ through the ministry of God’s Life.
